Like NES Ninja Gaiden?

Then you will love this Lego remake of the game. I have to say some of the greatest and funnest games i have ever played have been for the earlier systems. Ninja Gaiden was one of my all time favorite classics. Watching this brought back some fun memories. The intro alone was awesome.

Gotta be honest, I stopped watching after about 3 minutes, but that was pretty cool.

This one’s shorter, cooler, and has decent music.

I’m here to help, Akuma.

are we doing video games with lyrics now?

I agree, I’d rather play games from NES and SNES than PS3 or XBox360. The only ones that can’t hold a candle to the new stuff are sports games and some racing games.

Uhhhhh, the final boss in Ninja Gaiden was IMPOSSIBLE, without Game Genie.

Also of the impossible nature was the game AMAGON. If anyone ever played it without Game Genie I call bullshit if you say you got past stage 2.

For those of you who never finished any of the games (including the Arcade game, but not including the Xbox (360) titles), check this out

Yeah. Ninja Gaiden games are cool. I think I beat all of them. Might have cheated a bit. I remember the first one got very annoying with the enemies. The ending music with the protagonist’s dad dying has inspired a lot of remixes.

Yeah that 2nd-last boss (Jacquio?) was very tough. You had keep that fire weapon equipped (the one that shot a bunch of fireballs at a 45-degree angle) and save up that “special weapon” score to use against him. That’s the only way I could do it. And then there was one more boss that you could just kamikaze with your sword. Worst part of course was how far back they put you (Level 6-1?) if you lost any of those last three fights.

The truly IMPOSSIBLE NES game for me was the OG Castlevania – never did beat that one.

Anyway great clips in this thread, good times…

Didn’t beat Tyson’s Punch Out 'til I was like 22.

Ninja Gaiden 2 for the 360 is such a brutal game, but even though it’s ludicrously unfair I kept coming back to it.

I just want to make sure there is love for the old systems. Plus i was bored and tired of reading about celtics, so i threw this up lol

While we’re on the topic of impossible games has anyone here beaten Ikaruga for dreamcast/xbl arcade?

akuma, ninja gaiden was good, but loved double dragon way better.

Lol Oh gawd i hardly even remember that game. Speaking of old ass games, anyone ever play Jaws on the Nintendo? Hahah

the megaman 3 is priceless

okussenman is really famous at japan, is a music based on dr. willy stage from megaman 2, i cried seeing this.

tell you what, if you guys like Super mario bros, sonic, and DBZ, you will LOVE this. I fucking fell in love with these videos, and am currently waiting for the creator to make another. Awesome story, the animation gets exponentially better each episode, and the fights are great. Here is a link to where they are. If you watch the first 3 or 4 episodes, youll be hooked.

I only ever beat Kid Dynamite by decision, had to watch by cousin get the TKOs.

Kinda funny that they even made it possible to win the Dream Bout by decision, since it was def impossible to beat Sandman, Bald Bull 2 and Macho Man that way.
