I am on day 17 of 90.
I give it to day 45 maybe if I am lucky 60.
I once went a whole year with no drinking or eating to lose weight.
I was early 20’s then so was much easier, especially when you are poor.

Being the trendy motherfucker that I am I am starting to play around with carb backloading. I have no problem living off of steak, chicken and eggs all day. It’s at night that I get restless. After a week I am definitely tighter.
In my twenties, yeah, just not eating or drinking was so much easier, well the not eating part. I spent a few years bartending/bar managing, so sobriety was a little harder to maintain.

I normally do well with just splurging on Saturday, kind of my cheat day. I do fine during the week, between work, kids, working out early morning etc.
By Saturday I am ready to eat a plate of chili cheese fries with side of nachos and tub of beer.
LOL @ poor when you are young…Damn I would think it would be harder to be on the wagon when your younger being as there is more opportunity to hang out and get into trouble. On the other hand middle aged pressures cause me to want to drink everyday.
Very commendable bro good luck!

I found out if I raise up my vegetables and fat intake I am not restless at night, but if I get a inkling for carbs/sweets I drink Hot Green Tea.

Awesome I wish I could do that Strict, but with my physcical limitations I might get 175. Too much mileage and duck tape on my body…
But seated I can hit 205x5 or a single @ 225. Best ever before Sugery and nerve damage was 245x5 seated and 225x10 push press.

I need some work on my left shoulder, but I am holding off.
I cant bench any longer, so this is my replacement.
I am going to start doing cleans from the floor on Wed on the 5/3/1 template.
Between working on front squat, clean and military, should set me up to do some decent Oly lifting in the future.
Did you have cervical work done?
Suck being “Broken” doen’t it? BTW that was my nickname @ my old gym well “Broken Fish” to be exact! LOL
^ Yes it does, I think more than anything about doing things over in life it would be to modify my training when I was younger.
Who are all these new peoples??? Damn I need ot get out more.
That beer I had with you DJ was the first one I’d had in…who knows? 3-4 years I think.
Agreed training first thing in the morning has to be fasted. Tried different things before training and everything made my stomach turn.

How’s the diet going? Make it through game day ok?
Yep, I have been eating big breakfast and lunch and just either a salad and/or protein shake for dinner.
Yesterday breakfast 3 fajita tacos a lot of meat, beans. Lunch was sushi Tokyo roll and tuna roll. Dinner was a dip of snuff and Coke zero during the game. I skipped dinner cause I had enough carbs for two days with the the tortilla’s and sushi.
Do you eat before your crack of dawn workouts?
I don’t know much about energy drinks. The only one I’ve had is low carb Monster. Seems to do the job but i’m not a fan of the carbonation. Gassy and squating is not a good combo.
