Strongest Guy on my Block 4

I expect to see a stunning time, or at least epic beer consumption afterwards.

Oh and sorry abobut the Cowboys/UT its looking like a rough year down that way.

I am running in a group of about 10 people. I plan to get done under 3 hours like last time.

UT is sucking the ass right now.

Cowboys are still switching to a 4-3 D and are missing a few players. They will figure it out by Nov.

Kicking some A bro. Keep it up.

Thank you sir.

Ready to lift more and drop some of the running.

Every time I read your log all I can think is:

  1. that looks like it hurts
  2. no way I could do that
  3. you must be all ripped up

Good luck this Saturday.

Tues

Warm up dislocates and foam rolling

4 mile run

Not pushing it this week, just taking my time.

Tomorrow just plan to foam roll, stretch, lacrosse ball work, have to leave for Baton Rouge after lunch. So just plan to take it easy until Saturday.

Thank you kind sir.

Hardly ripped. I was always ā€œthickā€ and lifted heavy. Now I just look like I lift or play rugby/football type build.

Yes most of these workouts hurt, my shirt, shorts, socks are totally soaked with sweat, and I used to have to lay down for 10 minutes when I was done to catch my breath. Now I normally feel pretty good when I am done.

Okay since I have to drive to BR today, decided to sleep in and take 3 days off till the mudder.

Hope to have pictures to post on Saturday.

I had already showered and changed.

This kicked my ass, but was fun.

Took a little over 3 hours, but we were stuck at one obstacle for at least 30 minutes.

Still digging mud out of my ears.

Cool!

What sort of obstacles? What was the hardest one? What was the coolest one?

I can watch TV for three hours, but only during the playoffs.

I have done 2, there were some differences between the two.

Arctic enema sucks, never been that cold.

Being shocked sucks and climbing over the trenches sucks.

Running in mud pastures for 12 miles sucked.

The beer at the end was cool.

Looks like fun for someone in shape like yourself. I could be the guy serving beer at the end. And I’m quite the cheerleader.

Sorry about the angry joints. Hopefully a bit of rest will calm things down.

You seem to enjoy it. I don’t get the slidding on your ass part though.
