Derek, what are your personal thoughts on the FLU SHOT? They are strongly encouraging it at work and went as far as to say they would kill someone who didnt get the shot and got them all sick., Ive never had a good feeling about getting it. I did have a flu shot once, and i either got sick or got the flu anyway. Yes, I know about the different strains, but wanted to hear what you thought on this subject.

Personally I believe we should vaccinate the elderly, children and people who work in high exposure areas (people who work with the public).

If you sit behind a desk, workout, go home and really do not contact a large portion of the population than no point in getting it.

I do believe that they have refined the vaccines where I see less and less people having symptoms from the shot, as opposed to years ago more people were complaining of flu like symptoms after vaccination.

I work in a large salon, and do have one on one & then some contact , up close, all day. It was a very long time ago I had it, so i am encouraged that they made some changes to the shot. I was flat out thinking no, but will now consider it, thanks Derek!

EDIT to say, along with getting sick, I also had an incredibly sore arm for like 3 weeks, and I aint no whip, it hurt!

Where did you get it?

I have never had someone complain about my flu shots.

Tetnus will make you sore but the flu no way.
