Strength Plateau

Anyone have any special suggestions on overall mass/strength gain. I have been training westside for about 1 1/2 years and have made good gains. I think I’ve hit a wall, and am getting pretty damn frustrated going to the gym and not seeing the progress I was as a beginner. How can I kickstart myself back up again? Some stats: 5’10

I met with Bill Gillespie a few weeks ago and he had a great recommendation for me. He employs a technique called soft touch on the bench press. Instead of a touch and go or a pause on the chest, he sometimes will barely touch the chest and then press back up. It builds incredible strength off the chest. I did it for 4 weeks on my speed bench and hit my previous raw bench for two on monday.

Just change your workout

1.5 years doing anything will get stale.

Take a week or 2 off if it’s been a while.

Do a TBT type cycle.

12 week limping series will blow you away.
