315 x16 and 255 x 23 after all of the other heavy work, I’m fried just reading about it. 575 looked REAL easy like you could have pushed 600-Nice![/quote]
it suprisingly felt very easy. when i get that high if my bar path is just a little off it can make a huge difference in how heavy it feels. luckily i was right in my sweet spot for bar path and it felt very easy. actually all of the warmup sets leading to it felt much heavier. i can’t wait to hit 600 with the titan.
Awesome stuff. I come over here to see the weight your moving…gives me perspective.

thanks for the kind words…i don’t know about perspective. i’m just trying to keep from going backwards to far.
pull’n- everything is feeling good but i’m not going to go crazy. i’m just going to keep progressing slowly.
deadlift agains doubled minis
135x10
225x4
315x4
405x1
455x1- stopped here. everything felt good but i felt a little tightness in the IT bands.
315x10x2
hyperextensions
135x10
185x10
225x10
after training we did a mock meet to get everyone ready to ref the Brute Strength meet on April 14th.
Good work as always-Slow and steady on the recovery which I know is killing you more than the injury is!

I’m not a ref. I just play one online. I need more time on the platform before going that route. And better numbers. Plus, I lift USAPL. And I know you hate us!
You’ll do great cause you got a good head on your shoulders and know the game.

thanks for the compliment!!!
Hate is such a strong word… but you don’t get lumped in with that.
I knew you would hurt yourself lifting all those heavy weights. Have you thought about pool aerobics?
Glad you’re on the mend. Have fun reffing.

I don’t know what PX90 is but I like it. When I was putting my home gym together and buying and selling on craigslist everytime I had extra sets of light dumbbells I would sell them for about 75 cents per pound to a 20 something guy or girl who was “just starting” PX90. So whatever it is bought me a couple of power racks and about 3000 pounds of iron and other assorted goodies-That to me is a good program!
I’m not sure it will work for you but if you want to try it I’ll ship you some 10’s, 15’s and 20’s free of charge for all the help you’ve given me! Speaking of that I’m going to post some bench video on Thursday for your comments.

squats- we started out using the cambered bar and had planned to work up to a 3x3 with something around 405. unfortunately i started to feel a tone of pressure on my outer knees where the IT bands attach. I rolled the shit out of them and stretched…didn’t help. switched to front squats with a front squat harness we have at the gym. i’ve never used one and it felt okay but ended up ditching it for my last sets because it was pressing against my diaphram and making it hard to breath. front squats felt very comfortable with no pressure on the IT bands at all. I think i’m going to stick with front squats as my squat movement until i’m recovered.
cambered bar squat
0x10
135x10
225x10
275x4-felt strain in the outside of my knees
front squat-paused
225x20-with harness
225x20x2- no harness
leg press
4plates x 20
6plates x 20
8plates x 20, drop to 6plates x 30, drop to 4plates x 40, finished wiht 2plates x 50
seated calf raise
some x 10 x 3- long pause and long negative.
I have a love/hate relationship with the cambered bar. it’s brutal. nice work in here
think I might be looking into incorporating some heavy water aerobics into this cycle.

that’s the way to get the hawt abz, right?
a couple years ago at my commercial gym there some oxygen thief in the middle of the dumbell section with his lap top, doing the effen P90X crap. what a tard
Front Squating 225x20 on one good leg while not being able to breathe. No wonder you’re my hero! So you don’t want the dumbbells for PX90- I can still send them to you for an afternoon snack.
