Epic pull -textbook example on grinding it out w/o ramping.

I always thought the “hardcore” guys frowned on benching with feet up. I guess now I have to ask what the real hardcore guys are working on when using the feet up technique.

How is the regular ol paused bench feelin? 465 go up pretty quick?

deadlift’n- coasting into the meet now. just working on speed off the floor now. we will be doing deficit pulls up until the meet.

i like to throw in feet up to isolate the movement. i can’t use an arch with my feet up. it’s all pecs and triceps.

great lifting… a 325 standing press is huge weight…

bench night- had a good night. hit a PR on the titan and then worked up to an easy 475 paused bench.

Your third was like 485 or 490 wasn’t it? Opening with that would be pretty awesome.

deads from a deficit- worked up to 565 today. felt good and actually went for two but ran out of gas. next week i’ll up it to 585. deficit pulls are the hardest variaion of the deads for me becuase of my short as shit arms. my leverage at the bottom is horrible.

overhead press’n- been working up to heavy singles lately. worked up to 345 tonight. i weighed 248 this morning, so that’s almost 100lbs over BW. my grip was a little close on the 345 set which makes it strong off the chest but the lockout much harder. if i go wider, it’s the opposite.

Awesome press scott. That is making me feel really weak benching around what your overhead press, lol. I don’t think I can even max that right now. I need to stop letting runway model joweee hold me back, heh.

last bench session until meet next saturday- bench is feeling really strong. hit an easy 480 paused tonight after hitting a PR on the titan ram. for shits and giggles i finished with a set of 250x33. pecs cramped at 30. 40 reps, fresh would be a breeze. i know that’s pretty inconceivable for some.

Yeah man! Hoping to go 550-400-550…May go a bit less on the bench, depending on how the second attempt goes…

My g/f was going to do that SPF Meet down at Brute, but ended up not being able to get her training in order for it…I think she will still be there to watch though, I’ll tell her to drop by and say hey…

Are you doing full meet, push pull, or bench only?
