Stiff Pain Forearm When Curling

Anyone experienced pain in the forearm when doing curls?I got this shit from heavy cheat curls. In the beggining i felt a sharp pain in my forearm bone but it agravated. Now i cant curl with straight or ez bar cause of the pain i get.It hurts like a bitch when i put the weight down after i curled it, found out that if i release my fingers slowly the pain fades by 80%.I can curl with dumbbels and on machines with no problem. What can cause this?

Typically, not always, it is caused by small stress fractures in the bone. The worst thing I ever did was use a straight bar to curl. Way too much stress on the forearm. Like everything else, experiment with different grips to find what is comfortable. Mine was so bad a few years ago that I could not bench without a ton of pain. It got into my head too.

I was scared that with too much load, my bone would break and the bar would crash down on my face. LOL Been good for a few years now. I do not use straight bar at all anymore for curls.

I knew it, looks like my body is mutating.

I don’t know your stats or anything, but I had that going on a couple years ago when I curled. Turned out to be muscle imbalance. My routine was very imbalanced as I had way too much heavy curling and weighted chins in comparison to deadlifts, squats, etc.

Two years later I still have to be careful how I train or the pain comes back. Not to scare you, just get it checked out by a PT or chiropractor.
