None of the biggest guys here (bodybuilders, that is, dunno about the PL guys) started out as anything other than stickmen

Training for almost 3 years

6’2"

started at a chubby 165

Now a much leaner 236

Aiming for 320+

18 years old

got here at 19 at 155 lbs

got up to 212 last winter, sitting at lean fighting weight of 187 right now, headed back up though.

22 years old now btw.

Been training seriously for a little over a year.

At 5’10 I was below 170 last summer(after losing some fat), now I’m up to about 222, definitely not entirely lean gains though.
But yeah… 55lbs in just over 6 months. :stuck_out_tongue:

Working on leaning back down at the moment, but I can’t wait to see where my next bulk takes me.

Edit: As for my bodyfat, I have no idea what it’s at, but it’s probably around 3-4% higher than last summer.

155, spring 2006

Nov - 2007
212-215

current, 190 or so.

Next step, this lean, and back at 215

well done dude. how long did the cut take? what were the body fat percentages at these different levels?

for me:

6’0.5’’ @ 196lbs, 13.7% bf

I dont know about the BF%. I don’t trust the scales or the handheld devices a lick, and its pretty damn hard to find somebody who knows how to properly use the calipers, I just went by waist measurement and the mirror.

Went from being snug in a 34 waist jean to being able to wear 29 inch waist jeans, though they are a big snug in the quads.

I had some extra motivation to cut for an acting gig, so I lost most of the fat in about 12-16 weeks. Didn’t get on a treadmill or any other form of cardio machine, adjusted the diet, added some HOT-ROX, did some complexes and some occasional HIIT at the football stadium on top of my usual lifting in the 6-8 rep range.

Training for 15 years

starting weight around 80 pounds (age 5)

current weight 295 (age 20)

BF is prolly around 20ish now

height 5’10

maybe, i’ll start and actual “cut” when I’m weighing around 315

prolly around May

I was a skinny kid. Monsters are built. They don’t magically appear out of the uterus.

Started out at
5’9 250lbs bf…30%+

Got down to about 180-185(still no muscle)

Been training for real for the last year.

Now 5’9 200lbs maybe 12-15% bf

Bench 290x1
Squat 340x5
Deadlift 404x6

Pics in profile show progress from my No muscle stage to where i was at a couple months ago.

Started out at 18 years old, 6’1", 160lbs, roughly 15% bf.

After a year and a half of serious training, got up to 225lbs at roughly 17% bf… now at 200lbs at 10-11%…

It’s a journey. Rome wasn’t built overnight. Good job guys, way to keep yourselves accountable.

I’m about 5’8/5’9 (depends on how well I’ve slept -lol). Started at 150 lbs, running way too much (3-5 miles 3x a week), and couldn’t put on a pound.
Slowly worked my way up to 220 at my largest, and even had my top 4 abs showing (won’t guess to my bf% because everyone underguesses theirs anyway). I’m more comfortable around 205-210, moreso 205 in recent years, and can maintain it fairly easily.
Cutting for a show now, and while everyone’s saying I look shredded at 186lbs, I know I need to get down a hell of a lot more to display the level of conditioning I will need.
Just goes to show you how much muscle you need to build 1st before you cut
