I have no doubt that, like every other dvd released lately, that there will be a “director’s cut”. If Blade Trinity (my biggest disappointment lately in a movie) can do it, I would hope that Lucas would.

Lucas only puts out one version, and when he changes it, only the changed versions are put out, unfortunately. He will put the cut scenes on the DVD, or at least on the additional DVD.

I could not believe the awful dialogue from Star Wars that was found in the cut scenes they put in DVD 4 (they were in that several hour long special when they talked about him bringning in an editor to cut the movie down). I thought the dialogue was bad in the movie that was released!
He probably should have used an editor for I-III, also probably have other writers work on it like he did for Empire. But no one’s telling George Lucas what to do!
