Glad your shbg went up I bet that’s nice. Man I can’t believe two years and your labs look great yet you don’t feel much from it.
TSH is great but see how you have upper range t4 but lower end t3? Doesn’t that tell us your body is not converting the t4 to t3 at a good rate. @systemlord … need this guy to qualify my statement.
I know my doc told me that if my free t is optimized he wants a optimized freet3 to support that.
I bet a little bit of thyroid will help a ton. It is worth a shot after 2 years of Trt and no benefit . Your history Sounds mine me for the first 3 months. The thyroid kicked in and bam life’s good.
Give it a shot dude. Make sure you get good quality desecrated thyroid form a compound pharmacy. Take it in am and again 8 hours later. You might feel better immediately or a week or two later. For me it was immediate and had remained as suchZ
Free T isn’t optimal, I recently scored a Free T better than midrange and had symptoms, also thyroid levels are on the bottom end and isn’t optimal. You’re looking for optimal results and your levels are far from optimal.
The optimal range for T3 is 150 - 180 ng/dL, normal range is 71 - 180 ng/dL.
You want the libido of a tennerager and not a 50 year old man, right?
Your thyroid lacks consistency, TSH is all over the board. Just look at how your SHBG is all over the place, that reflects your TSH inconsistency. You can always seek out a private doctor for your thyroid.
If you refuse to seek thyroid treatment for whatever reason, you will continue to struggle.
This statement isn’t exactly filling me with confidence, it suggests there’s room for improvement.
You think raising to 20mg test per day will increase things (e2 mainly) too much? Daily dosing, even though you make tiny increases, affects things a lot more…
Don’t give blood at 46. if you have been donating more than twice a year you need to add ferritin to your blood tests. Low ferritin can mess your thyroid numbers up. That is what happened to me. Got my ferritin back in range and my thyroid numbers all came back up.
roscoe recent I had a consultant and doctor hinted at a borderline iron deficiency do to my testosterone levels declining on a dosage that saw levels in the high normal ranges, can’t begin to imagine what this could be doing to my thyroid hormones.
It just so happens I cut out steak 3 months ago, steaks = iron.
I don’t think you would feel a thing. It would all average out to whatever the TT injected based on the half life of the T and how fast your body motablizes the T as it is released from the oil mixed with. Also 50mg(.25ml) is not even close to drastic.
T is not like taking a drug to get high. There’s this elaborate chemical thing going on. When I blast twice a year I take 400mg/wk for 12 weeks I don’t feel any different for a whole month. Nothing same as 100mg/wk. Only by week 5 do I notice I am a little stronger and have a bit more endurance at the gym.
Does this help? What do you think the 50mg booster shot will do?
