Brother I would hate to see you go. I truly wish you would reconsider.
It takes a wide range of opinions to form a well rounded understanding of this stuff. Your perspective and experience is just as important as any other on here. Yes there’s new ideas and areas of research going on right now. That’s a GOOD thing brother. Who knows, maybe over the next few years, those ideas will be proven right. Maybe not. Either way, time always tells.
Meanwhile, as long as everything is theoretical, we should all be opened-minded enough to respect other theories. This has been a problem lately with some of the newer drum bangers. That’s a product of today’s culture though brother. These FaceBook babies! Lol They will grow up some day and realize that their tactics have driven more people away than they have helped, BUT, it doesn’t invalidate their right to have their own theories and opinions at the same time.
It’s up to us old dogs to be an example man. Not meaning that we know it all or are right every time, but more of an example of just how to conduct ones self. These younger guys have no idea what respect for fellow man is, but they aren’t too stupid to learn that. They are here asking questions, so they at least have SOME inkling that they don’t already know everything! Lol
Some of them just need to experience the parable of the seed. One is planted in good soil and watered daily. It spends time establishing a good solid root and then breaks through the soil and becomes a strong tree.
Another is planted in rocky ground. It never establishes a root and shoots up through the soil quickly, but because it has no root, the wind comes along and it is toppled before it ever becomes strong tree. Some of these guys are just like that. They are asking questions one week, and are typing away aggressively barking commands like they are the leading expert the next. No roots lol.
But what the rest of the world needs to realize is that even those young rootless trees may also drop a few seeds before they are toppled. And just maybe, one of those seeds finds good soil and becomes a strong oak someday, and really does change the world.
