So you’re saying that it’s perfectly normal for someone to pull 3xBW and yet still have no traps and cry when something heavy is on their back? You seriously believe that’s normal?

You received a ton of “real reasons”, specifically regarding the position of the bar in relation to your hips and centre of gravity, and your ability to pull the bar down into your traps in order to improve the application of force into the bar, but you continue to ignore them in favour of whining like a baby because everyone’s laughing at you.

Whether his situation is “normal” isn’t an argument I want to be a judge on. But after viewing the video he put up, I’d have to say he seems strong, small, and trapless. So his situation may be different from what the rest of us have seen, but he’s given us decent evidence to support his claims.

And pretty good grip, by the way.

Sure, we could start arguing about whether he locked out or what weight he uses now, but the point remains that he’s strong for his size and is deficient in the size of his trapezius.

Racarnus, if you started consuming more calories, you’d get bigger as well as stronger.

To be fair, I used to power lift when I was in high school. I used to dead lift quite a bit for my weight class(132/148) and my traps were still small compared to everything else.

Read more carefully. Your imagining things I didn’t write and ignoring things I did. Nowhere did I say anything about “perfectly normal.” I am not normal. Do not read anything into what I write beyond the words written. I say exactly what I mean.

I said I was satisfied with the “real reasons” posted and that I wouldn’t be using the pad anymore, atleast giving the naked bar another shot. I have ignored nothing. You are dense and thickheaded and you contribute nothing. And, you’re jealous. You’re an ass clown. Get out of my thread.

on a note completely opposite to the theme of this thread, yesterday i was working in on bench with a guy and started talking about squats, then i showed him how to squat.

by the end he was doing 115x10 with pretty good form too! nice and deep, i would say not bad for first try ever.

then i told him to come to T-Nation.

i feel like a missionary for all that is good in life

You’ve a major attitude problem man. You need to get over the fact you’ve a decent deadlift and realise you’re not the greatest thing to hit the powerlifting scene in the last 10 years.

You were no closer to locking out that 405 than I would be to locking out 605. So if that’s what you’re 455 looks like then all of a sudden it’s become alot more believable.

Just take the majority of the advice as given. It’s not a personal attack or an attempt to hurt or degrade you. But hey, if you automatically jump to that conclusion then you could have low self esteem issues. It would explain why you’re always on the attack anyway.

Keep working on your deadlift, if you’re patient and work on it it will come. Exact same story with the squats.

Who cares if someone uses the pad or not. Ive seen some little bitches not using the pad and ive seen some pretty big guys using the pad. I can rep 405 with or without the pad, but I prefer to use the pad. It is not like the pad assists with lifting the weight it is just a matter of preference.
