I saw another guy benching today with his legs sticking straight out into the air, I kind of shrugged it off. Then I saw him start his reps, and he would make a flying V with his legs during each rep. i had never seen anything like it. I had to walk away to avoid laughing in front of him
i did curls in the squat rack today

I see people doing leg scissors while benching on a regular basis. Sometime Iāll try to get a video.

Haha, it was a complete shocker to me. I would love to see it again
My training partner & I watched as some fag got on the dip handles & inverted himself and started doing some combination of pullups/pushups upside down. After we finished our workout we started doing parkour around the empty gym right in front of him and acting like it was an insane workout, 10 min. later I came back into the gym because I forgot my shaker only to find him trying it⦠immediate face palm.

ā¦He didnāt sound all that crazy⦠and then you parkoured around the empty gymā¦
Thereās this Captain Upperbody guy in my gym, he comes in at the same time as me, spends about 1 hour inside the locker room, comes out all sweaty, then screams his lungs out like someoneās stabbing him in the gut while doing lat pulldowns and HS Press, these are the only exercices he seems to do.
I donāt mind the screaming as I have my Ipod on, but he makes a mess in the weight room whenever he decides to bench press and do some other exercise rather than his favorite two. Not to mention the sweaty benches he doesnāt clean up.
I thought of a shirt caption lastnight while at my gym, ārange of motion called, why wonāt you pick up?ā
in case yāall missed it, an e-fts list of SRCs

Tell me about it. Thereās this decently big guy at the gym with a chest/arms almost the same size as mine, but he has NO back thickness, and NO legs at all. Itās a little sad honestlyā¦cuz I can tell if he put the work into his lower body, heād have some potentialā¦

I have coined a term for this type of developmentā¦āMunsterā. A Munster is someone who is freakishly big or strong in one or two areas but is a symmetry/balance nightmare.
My motivation for this term was a guy that would do chest every other day and could bench some quality reps @ 405. His shoulders were rounded forward and he always wore pants to cover his legsā¦even in the summertime. His chest, bis, and forearms were impressive, but he could be the illegitimate child of the hunchback of notre dame.
You canāt call him a monster because he was a structural disasterā¦so the term MUNSTER seemed to fit.
I hope you guys enjoy this much as I do.

Actually this guy in my gym isnāt a munster at all. I only used āCaptain Upperbodyā because he only does upperbody stuff. Itās weird, he has some upper back tickness, but his chest is small and āinwardā like, the arms looks like they belong to one of those starving children from India
and he has a little beer belly.
There was a guy doing explosive bench press from pins. He was pressing the weight up really quickly, quick enough to make the weights clank around at the top from the acceleration. He got up to about 225 or so before the bar started to slow down significantly.
But what was odd was that after each set he kept jumping up and growling āI can feel it WORKINGā to himself and stalking around with a glare on his face and I think he was grinding the shit out of his teeth too. And I noticed that he kept shocking himself when he touched anything metal and he kept shocking his workout partner when he touched him.
Oh wait, that was me. Fuck.
I went to a new gym today for the first time and saw some big (fat) guy load up 30kg on an EZ curl bar and lift it up with a pronated grip. I rhought he was doing reverse curls but he then put the bar down and lifted it back up. I then realised he was doing sumo deadlifts. Also i saw a guy walk in with the aid of a walking stick and then use the treadmill.

full of win!
Hereās a decent one.
So this guy, slightly larger than your average skinny guy (and I mean sliiiightly) was showing his friend some movement.
āOk, so you need to bend your knees, and stick your butt out, now curl the dumbbells one at a time, three seconds up.ā
The end result was they looked like they were taking a shit (you know the face people make when they start struggling with a weight) while curling.
Today I saved some 16 year old girls life when she was about to use a squat machine loaded with 10 plates.
