1 Training Session, 2 Gym Crimes!

At the gym last night doing power cleans, someone walked past so close behind me they actually had to duck the plate as I brought it up.

Later in the same session I am using the pullover machine. As I start my final set it feels really light compared to the previous ones. Reason being that some jerk-off has lifted a plate off the machine as I am sat there resting between sets.

I really am going to kill someone one of these days.

You should have smoked those guys

That’s fucking ridiculous.

I’ve hit someone on the head when front squatting once before - I didn’t see the guy try to duck under the plates and I whacked him with the end of the bar on the way down. I finished my set before chastising him for his stupidity.

I had a similar problem last night while doing RDL’s. This asshat bumped into the bar right at lock out, twisting me a bit. No back problems, thank God, but I yelled at his anyways. Why is it so hard to watch out for guys doing big lifts like that? I just dont get it.

Workout with a WW2 flamethrower on your back. Sure it weighs a few pounds, but you can burn any bitches that make you angry.

Those plate snatchers will get you man. Happened to me the other day on leg press. I finish a set, add a few more plates, hit the water fountain and when I come back I start lifting and I notice I’m down a plate on 1 side. Fuckers.

Once I called this two guys to assist me with front squats if I can’t come up from the hole. I was hiting a rep PR, so I was worried.

Anyways, I go down and this asstat holds the bar with his hand despite me specificaly saying that I’ll yell if I need help and I lose my balance. Luckily, I finished the set with no setbacks except that.

I’m never calling anyone to assist me ever again in my gym. No one squats here, I guess he was puzzled by the movement dammit.

i feel you. i always get annoyed beyond words when people walk a little too close when im doing cleans. if somebody bumped me during something like that i dont know what i’d do.

You should do squats with their ez-curl bars or if your able to get it on your shoulders just squat their entire curl machine.

I am in Health and Fitness promotion at college. In my class I said that tricep kickbacks were useless. 3 people in my class started explaining to me how they are a “shaping” exercise. I told them that was impossible. They disagreed. One of them was a 145lb kid who somehow won a bodybuilding competition. He complains all the time about needing to bring up his legs. They all think I’m on steroids. This is my life. Every weekday.

Me vs underarmor PT bosu ball lunge-with-curl tricep kickback crew and some lanky hockey kids. I am twice as strong all of them. 90% of them eat pizza and harveys every single day and binge drink on weekends. I pretty much only talk to one of the teachers who is an ex olympic track athlete, a distance runner guy, and a kid who is a beginner at squats and deadlifts but love to do them.

This is much worse than a Gym Crime imo.

When I go to the gym I’m surrounded by powerlifters and guys who know their shit, It’s quite refreshing. Nailed a 440 back squat yesterday, after being forced to do 2 hours of bodyweight squats and lunges off an aerobic step in class that morning.

well I got one…not so much a crime as it is blatant stupidity and ignorance, anyways so I asked this dude for a spot as I’m about to do some flat bench press, he responds uhh yeah ok sure alright, little off to begin with, but I ignore it and assume my position…so I lay down on the bench and the guy is standing over my right side just waiting there… not behind the bar I mean right next to me, I say to him, um so can i get a spot, he goes, yeah no prob ready when u are. ??? wtf… then i say would u mind standing behind the bar so u can get a better position, he looks at me dumbfounded. I honestly thought spotting was an easy thing to do and that no matter what your fitness level is, everyone knows how to do it…WRONG!

I hadn’t even got up from the damned machine. He didn’t half look worried when I went over and asked him about it.

The other day I left my training log, towel, and bottle on the bench and went to the bathroom. I came back and somebody had moved all my stuff to take the bench, despite there being an empty bench 6 feet away. He then did 5 sets of 45 lbs. He then also proceeded to bb curl 10 pounds next to a girl db curling 15.

Just wanted to share.

Hit guy a in the head when i was doing military press once. He just backed up right into it. I was about to yell at him but thankfully he apologized.

I work out at my school’s gym and people do this shit all the time. God forbid the person gets them self clubbed in the head by a weight being hurled through the air. I would probably be the one that gets kicked out of the gym too.

thats the sad part, if i cleaned 225 into a guy and flatted us both in the process im sure id be the one kicked outta my gym. cleans would then be banned from the gym as well.

My gym’s only squat rack is near the corner of the gym. There is a small area between the wall and the squat rack. EVERY fucking douchebag has to do their dumbass workout there. Its never anything I can respect either. They always get in my way when I want to add weight and their too stupid to realize there is an area designated for their crap, but I suppose walking 30 feet with some dumbbells is too much to ask.
And I had to postpone my deadlifts for tomorrow, because some fucker was rack pulling 155 for like 20 minutes and I’m not a fan of just sitting around.
Fuck fuck fuck.

i was trainig at my work about 2 months ago… it was about 3 weeks out from my show and i was using the incline bench. after a set i went to do some pullups in the smith machine, when i got back i went straight into pressing. as i de racked it its flown to one side because some fagot corporate had taken a 10 kg plate off one side to add to his hammer strength press next to me. fukn duchebage couldnt walk to the the rack to get a plate instead he pinched mine. my hand got caught between the bar and the J hook aswell. even if i wasnt dieting i would have reacted the same.

i stood up and looked at the guys doing the 2 man hammer strength press (forced reps every set) they were the only ones in the area i said " who the fuck took my plate off" they didnt even speak to me just brought it back and walked off… its the same guys who leave everything loaded with plates when they leave… fuck i hate these uptight corporate bastards who have people who work under them. they think that its my job to clean their shit up… aaahhh feel good after venting

this stuff really pisses me off. especially with my gym having stupid signs such as “was that an earthquake?? nope just somebody dropping their weights, dont drop the weights!!!” but yet complete ignorance and stupidity seem completely ok. I was doing db rows last week and got the weight out it next to the bench and was getting ready to start my set. Some 160 lb kid comes up grabs the fifteen and stands within inches of the bench i am set up on and about to pick up the weight and does some stupid ass exercise i had never seen before. I stared at him the whole time, then when he was done, the guy next to me says you should watch where you do that stuff. Respect to the older guy saying something but completely ridiculous.

once I was doing incline bench on the smith machine and had a guy walk up and take the on 5kg plate off the bar and put it on the tbar row machine, I couldn’t believe what had just happened - sat there stunned.
