I like it. I have a Halo 2 clan I am presently in, but I am clearly intrigued with the possibilities for some T-Nation nights on the ol’ XBox. Maybe we can declare one night soon as a T-Nation frag fest. Please feel free to submit any suggestions for games. I, of course, nominate Halo 2 (with all news maps… seriously, kick in the $6 for the 2 others… they are worth it).
I take it Splinter Cell: CS is a must get eh? Anyone pick up Doom 3?

where do you get these…they may not be out in the uk.
please tell me, i need some new stuff. hitman 11 has got a bit old.
Don’t get Doom3. I did and it’s only average. Half Life 2 is vastly superior. Of course, if you play your games on a console, then sucks to be you.
I like counter strike and unreal 2004. But there will always be a special place in my heart for the Splinter Cell series. When the new one drops below $50 (australian) i’m gonna snap it up.
anyone know of any decent games for a Mac? I just switched over and haven’t really checked around. I prefer RTS type games versus FPS but I am pretty open to suggestions. Just no MMRPGs wasted too much time in my single life on one of those!
I hear ya, Snoop. I am thinking about making the switch to Mac and was not overly concerned about games since I am a console guy. I think Warcraft 3 is out for Mac and that is RTS.

Doom 3 is not that great, eh? That is a major downer since I was really looking forward to it. I did hear that on cooperative play there are levels where you and your buddy only have 1 gun between you, the other one has a flashlight and it’s pretty damn dark. I thought that was a nice touch.
The game that I think looks great (but I think it might be PC only) is F.E.A.R. It’s like a cross between Half Life and The Ring/The Grudge. Looked super creepy.
Well I hear the X box version is quite decent, but I have it on PC and wasn’t impressed.
It’s exactly the original doom, just prettied up and gameplay has moved beyond shooting things in corridors in the last 10 years. I wanted more than what it gave me.
Holy shit. I thought I was a masterful SC player. I got on x-box live and was totally taken to school by someone that sounded like he/she was about 9 years old.

prolly.
Course, I pretty much work two jobs–and I’m self employed at both of them, in one I’m a painting contractor and the other a juried artisan–so there’s always more work even when I’m too tired to do it.
Add to that the tv that my xbox is hooked to is always in use by the resident slug–well…I do pretty well to make the time to lift and stuff.
Add to that this other little problem–I’m just not naturally good at these games like some of you (seems like all of you, everyone but me!) and the whole thing sucks.
But I’m not knocking game play, like Professor X seemed to be saying, I wish I could find more time for it.
