funnny thing, i was playing halo with a friend today and i had got online after he left to go and check out T-Nation when i read up on a post from " Kuz" ( one the coolest guys here ) and the thread included something about halo. wow i was so shocked, to much of a Coincidence. man i been playing halo since it came out i haven’t gone to competitions but i will this fall with my clan called S.A.D. ( seek and destroy ). if your new or need help in halo ill tell you all combos i know and have seen, plus what ever you need to know about halo. besides playing the game i read 2 of there 3 books.
P.S. kuz if you need help getting that idea of yours up and going, know that you already got a fan backing you up and willing to help.

I know of a few people on here who are XBox Live players. Rainjack and I have played Halo a few times. I know usaffirefighter is a gamer (although not sure if he plays XBox). If anyone else is up for finding a night for a bunch of us to meet up on-line and shoot the bejeezus outta each other, let me know. Heck, it might be a great way to settle some of the long-standing scores that permeate the forums here.
Crap, my secret’s out. I’d love to get on and play with you all, but unfortunately the neighborhood I moved into over here just got phone lines about 2 weeks ago (or might as well have) So dial-up is the best I can do, and that’s not gonna cut it for Live.

Funny you should mention that. The place I’m staying is off base. The only place you can get cable modem, is on base. But they won’t let me live there.

I’ve never heard anyone who has played both ever say that (well, except for you). I have never played Socom, so I cannot comment, but I would be surprised to find any on-line shooters as good as Halo 2.

I played both and the chug fest known as Socom is not above Halo 2 and I dont even care for Halo 2. There are MANY games above and beyond both of them.

First of all Socom and Halo are two very different type of games. Socom’s more squad based,realistic and in third person,Halo can be squad-like but it’s still a sci-fi theme, and it’s first person . In anycase they are two very different games and appeal to people with different tastes. Jmac…who has fed you these lies? Halo3 is coming out the same day or close to the PS3’s release date. but the game “Halo” is not coming out for ps2 or ps3. Microsoft OWNS (not gamer slang but literally) Bungie,and bungie makes halo. I don’t think they are going to put their best selling game out for the competition, plus the PS2 probably can’t handle Halo 2 much less Halo3.
i used to be hyooge into Halo CE (whaddayatink my handle means?). only problem was that it was never live and i couldn’t play verses often cuz i only knew two other people who were any competition. at one time i got to the point where i didn’t think anybody could beat me on Hang em High Pro Slayer or beat Pillar of Autumn faster than i (shoulda gone to tourneys).
im not much of a Halo2 fan due to the fact that the campaign is just less enjoyable that HaloCE. verses is awesome though, im just too lazy to get live. also, im a pistol-sniping whore who doesn’t wanna find new ways to kill all.
just rented doom3 and it sux. im sure i’ll never find a game as sweet as HaloCE.
hey quick question for all fo you who have played unreal tournament. i havent played that game but im eager to play can you tell me what type of things it offers in the following catagories.
multiplayer action?
variety of weapons?
realistic enviorments and game play ?
is there a story to the game ?
i would usally look it up and make sure but im to lazy to do that. i like playing FPS games so would you recomend this for me ???
