Soy Protien

I am fairly new to T-mag and have been noticing short, negative comments about soy protien. I know soy protien is nowhere near as complete a protien as egg, fish or meat but I thought there were some virtues to using soy like estrogen suppressing isoflavones. I read a book by an MD on naturally increasing test. levels and he is a big proponent of soy protien because, he states, that it suppresses estrogen. Have I been misled? I have read some really negative comments on soy on this forum and in the mag.
