X was just trying to make a point with this thread. And hopefully it will get rid of people who post DUMB things like you…
We like conversing and sharing information …is there anything wrong with that. Im 23 and I like to get advice from people who have advice to give and have the PICTURES and strenth to prove it so I can learn from there ways.
Whats your problem dude…
To be successful you must surround yourself with like minded individuals, I want to get bigger so I want to listen to what BIG people have done…
Anyways, whatever. Just don’t post if you have nothing valid to add please and thank you.
I didn’t mention X at all in that post, I agree that the people wanting X to eat veggies are idiots, but I’m also saying that arguing with these idiots is pointless.
Besides a couple of weeks ago there was a thread about how to get to single digit bf% and everyone shitted bricks and said that that was not on topic, so why is this thread considered on-topic
So is this like a regular thing, every couple of months? A bunch of guys come out of the woodwork to have a go at Prof. X? It’s happened a few times since I’ve been a member…you’d think they’d know not to do it by now. Seems to me he’s been as much a part of the site as CT et al…why argue? This is serious internet.
^^^ That’s how I made the mistake of not thanking Professor X when I got the PM about being invited to join T-cell Alpha…I thought he was one of the ‘employees’ of the site, or a founding member and that Alpha was some part of the board you could only go to after a certain number of posts or something. Kind of stupid of me, I guess.

I don’t post in the BB forum outside the Brotherhood of Iron because my goals are not primarily bodybuilding, and also I haven’t yet got results that anyone would find even moderately impressive in relation to bodybuilding. But, I’m just going to reiterate what DoubleDuce said earlier because it bears repeating; If you want to be GOOD at something, not just better than average, SOMETHING WILL SUFFER.
I worked my ass off to get into a decent uni, sometimes sleeping 4 hours a night. Should have just gone to a worse uni and made sure my health was better with 8 hours a night. I swam (and swim) up to 12 hours a week in the hope of breaking through to nationals; that’s not healthy. I should sit on my ass and play videogames according to the mentality of some here because I will not eat enough fruit and veg for my body to cope. Oh and I weight train 4/5 times a week on top of that, oh dear I’m overtraining and eating too many carbs; I’ll have diabetes before I’m 30. Gah.

Oh god shut the fuck up. I get this whole ‘‘I study all the time, I work my ass off blablabla’’ speech every day everywhere from everyone. No one fucking cares
Yet, no one is degrading people in COMBAT SPORTS for not being super healthy and getting blows to the head.
No one is degrading POWERLIFTERS for using weights that make their noses bleed.
Hell, for most students to get a “DR” title in front of their name requires several years of NOT sleeping more than a few hours a night. How healthy is that?
In EVERY SINGLE ENDEAVOR KNOWN TO MAN that requires some all out physical effort of some sort, HEALTH is usually NOT the primary goal as far as that sport.
Everyone watched Michael Phelps at the Olympics. Does anyone here think being an athlete in the Olympics is HEALTHY in and of itself?
Is anyone dumb enough to tell those guys they should change how they eat to match the 140lb’ers on this site?
The individual has to decide where he personally draws the line…not EVERYONE ELSE WITH AN OPINION.
What I’m confused about is why you have a picture of Johnnie Jackson in your avatar and are pretending it’s you

280, but thanks.

Serious thoughts?
That health and BBing don’t see eye to eye on some things and it take balls and more willpower than I have to side with what you want to achieve when those are the options.
That’s honestly my main problem with getting bigger and stronger. I have often tried to “do the healthy” thing rather than what I knew was necessary. There is no absolute right or wrong to either path, but in the confines of a sport there is.
Riding a dirt bike is good exercise and healthy, but being a world champion motocross rider has nothing to do with health. In fact, to really accomplish most things worth accomplishing you can’t only do “healthy” things. Marathon runners sacrifice their knees, boxers sacrifice some brain cells, pitchers sacrifice their elbows, running backs their knees. If you really have the iron bug, if you really want to achieve in BBing, healthy or not has little to nothing to do with it.
Not serious thoughts?
Creatine enema. All the noobs out there should try it.
Phenomenal post.

Lol, I like skynett, but I was thinking the same thing.

Lol.
Sorry about the lengthy post, I had to catch up and share my opinion on just about everything, haha.

Why don’t all the experienced posters simply use the ‘ignore’ command on whoever they don’t like, start their own training log and really break everything down kindergarden style for us and I promise you all blowjobs. in the afterlife.

Your question wasn’t the problem. Every jackass who jumped in that we hardly ever even see in this forum is who the problem is.
The guy who made that statement about spinach is a prime example.
Most of these jackasses barely even lift weights but feel the need to make themselves known in every BODYBUILDING thread.
SORRY PROFESSOR X. I WILL NEVER POST IN ANOTHER BODYBUILDING THREAD EVER AGAIN LEST I TRY AND MAKE MYSELF KNOWN, WHICH I ALREADY HAVE, IN A RATHER HILARIOUS WAY I MIGHT ADD. I WILL NEVER POST MY HARMLESS OPINION ABOUT NOT LIKING SPINACH OR ANY OTHER FOOD EVER AGAIN. MY BAD ABOUT NOT HAVING ENOUGH MUSCLE FOR YOU, I TRY REALLY HARD.
