Solidifying gains

Since I’m not too big of a fan of the Growth Surge workout (tried it before, made nice gains, but just didn’t like the workout), I’ve decided to do GVT 2000 this time around with Mag-10.

My question pertains to the routine after mag-10’s 2 week cycle. Should I still continue GVT 2000 or should I change routines into something with less volume. GVT is supposed to run 4 weeks or so. I’ll be using M, Tribex. and Methoxy post-cycle.

Also, I’d just like to thank goldberg and patricia for their straightforward, no BS posts. They made me rededicated to lifting, and not sweat the minute details.

Thanks for your help.

Typically you’d run a training program for at least 4 weeks, however, if you’re just doing a 2-week Mag10 cycle, I’d do the GVT for the 2 weeks, and then immediately go into a pure strength training program.

Very few exercises, and many sets per exercises, with reps no more than 5.

Maybe something like Joel’s 5x5 program.

I personally would drop into a strength program afterward such as a 5x5. Afterall nobody has ever lost muscle mass while doing a 5x5 plus it’s fun.

you could start gvt 2 weeks prior to mag 10. hit the mag 10 for 2 additional weeks. that gives you 4 on gvt, then drop to a strength based program.
