Snatch Grip Hurts Shoulders?

sup guys ive been practicing Snatch from hang, following as closely as I can the article “Beatiful Snatch”. Been practicing with a light weight so far(80lb), just getting the proper form straight.

Anyway, when using a proper “snatch grip”, as I pull the bar and then half squat (at that time my arms are going up), it feels like the greep is “too wide” and my humerus is being pulled from its sockets(only way i can describe it). It doesnt feel too bad, just doesnt feel right.

I could probably work thru with it, if i wanted, but instead i settled for a narrower grip(just outside my shoulders), which in turn limits my performance so to speak. Especially since you gotta catch the bars with your arms already locked out, that difference in a grip will limit me in a long run.

Any thoughts ? I already about shoulders flexibility, yet it seems alright(I did presses with the same bar behind the neck standing for 5-8 reps, didnt feel any pain). -_-
