I’ve been having small muscle spasms in my right arm continuously for the last 2 weeks
( around the elbow / tricep area ). Could it be due to the fact that I pushed my body a little to hard during training ? Maybe a sign that my nervous system took a pounding ? Anyone else have any ideas or maybe experienced this ? Thanks in advance for any input.
I used to get an intense spasm in my right arm while washing my hair after my arm workout. My arm would violently contract on its own. This was during a period of time when I was training ala Mentzer [complete con/iso/ecc failure].
Since I’ve stopped training like that I’ve never had the problem come back. Possibly you are training the same way?
I train one body part per week which gives
me the chance to hit each part heavy and hard.
I’ve always trained this way for a while now
but switch programs every 5 weeks using the same principle. I have a feeling the spasms might be due to having pushed too hard during the weighted dips. I’m taking this week off so maybe that’ll help.
