Sloshpipe Training

Im gonna make a Slosh pipe, I have an area right by my work wear I am goint to start a conditioning routine to do twice a week.

Has anyone used a slosh pipe extensively, any input and opinions.

I helped set up a strength competition where I live, and the slosh pipe was one of the events. It was 10 ft. long and (if I remember right) 6 inches in diameter. With water in it, it was hard as fuck.
It was basically a novelty event, but just carrying it anywhere (crossing your arms in front of your chest and balancing the pipe on top was found to be a pretty good method) was hard enough. You can run about with it over your head for a set distance or time, or you could substitute the pipe for a barbell and do your standard workout.
I had high hopes for my slosh pipe, but I ended up moving right after that, and couldn’t get the goddamn thing to stay on top of my car.
Trying to catch a slosh pipe rolling down a hill, trying to break it on a curb, failing, and then trying to discreetly dispose of it in a dumpster- really works all your stabilizers. Highly recommended workout.

when the article first came out i was in military school and my squad made some and trained with them.

pretty gnarly workout

We have a 6" ID x 8’ L pipe, half filled with water. It is interesting, but for conditioning purposes, the Prowler owns it.

First nice day with no snow on the ground in months. I filled the pipe for the first time and did some zercher walks (I have the removable end caps and they stayed on and leak free). Wow, is it difficult to stay in a straight line… Hell of a lot of fun.

jnd

Yeah, i wanted to bench & military press it but my hands are too small. Zercher squats & carrys as finishers kicked my arse enough anyway.
