Sloh, my man, everything is looking good from where I’m sitting. Its awesome to see you this far along. I’m dieting down right now as well (not for a show, but just to reevaluate how my program has been over the last 18 months or so)
I cant wait to see you comp photos. Almost 4 years in the making, should be very rewarding.
The only thing I can really comment on is to try and bring up your back width and triceps in your next training cycle. Your side tricep is phenomenol, but for some reason they seem to flatten out during the Back Double Bi’s shot. Maybe thats just the angle though. Everything else is looking pretty damn thick and on target… Just needs to be bigger everywhere (but then again, who doesnt?)
How did I miss this thread? Just read throughthe whole thing.
Congradulations man and good luck for dec 4.
I agree with your opinions on just about everything that you wrote about man, it is so inspiring to see someone making such great progress.
I’m really impressed with your ability to set such a long term goal for yourself and achieve it.
When I started lifting I had lofty goals of gaining 10kg lol so I have probably wasted a lot of time because I didn’t spend the time to be honest about what I wanted and set firm goals.
Your progress really lit a fire under my ass and now I’m more inspired to do even better. Not sure exactly what weight would look best on me at 5 11 but prob more than I weigh now, so I guess my long term goal should be another 30-40 pounds.
This is very impressive. It is nice to find other people in college like myself who do not really find the whole drinking thing very appealing. Sloh, what did you major in? Im applying to med schools for the coming year, just did my first interview a few weeks ago, big relief to find things finally materializing after years of hard work!

I majored in human biology. Oh yes it is a big relief to find things pay off and bodybuilding is just the same way
Hey Lonnie! I agree with the size all over. My long term goals are to add about 15 more lbs of solid dry mass to my current size, preferably in the chest and back first.
I’ve got my offseason training set up right now…
4 days a week
Day 1: Back/abs
Day 2: Chest/biceps
Day 3: Legs/calves
Day 4: Shoulders/triceps/abs
Biceps and triceps are paired up because I feel these bodyparts are strong points for me. I knock biceps or triceps out in like 10-15 min usually.
Rest of the days, I am going in and doing cardio and rehab work (stretching, rotator cuff stuff)
Nice job, your hams and quads are both nuts - especially considering your near 150. Everything else looks on point. Which show did you say you were doing?
Thanks and you look very good yourself! I’m doing the NPC Excalibur. I just hope I don’t get my ass handed to me, I believe it’s one of the toughest amateur NPC shows.

Thank you.
I did the NPC Natural Midstates, I was a little disappointed that they only hand selected competitors to be tested. However, I wouldn’t think it will make a huge difference in your weight category, but I could be wrong.

Sloh-- Quite impressive. You’re hard work and dedication have definitely paid off. Quite a role model for some of the ‘hardgainers’ here.

What’s a “hardgainer?”[/quote]
I can’t tell if you’re joking…
If you aren’t a hardgainer is someone who has (or claims to have) a hard time gaining weight.

Exactly. That’s why I used “”. “Hardgainer” is like “Jack-a-lope”.
