Sleep or Exersice: What's More Important?

Sleep.
You’re not gonna get a good workout feeling sleepy and tired.
In fact you’re raising your cortisol levels by doing that…but that aside, you’re gonna injure yourself if you’re too tired.

If you sometimes dont get enough sleep, say once or twice a month - make them off days.

But if it is more regular than that you MUST train.

I used to have late shifts to early shifts as a DM at a gym last year. I would get home at about 11:00pm and bed for midnight. Then i would need to get up at 5am for work at 5:45am - Illegal, but still…

I had to FORCE myslef in the gym at 3pm when i finished, i would just plod around following my set workout, yawning frequently - sometimes i was weak, sometimes, while still very tired, i would PR!

These are the reasons why bodybuilding is so character building and disciplining. Because you need to force the hard work sometimes.

Wow! Looks like I should check my threads more often!

Lots of suggestions…but I have no problems falling asleep at all…usually within 20 min I’m fast gone.

But waking up at 2am every night seems to be a habit for me…so I walk around the apartment for 3 min, and go back to sleep…usually to wake up at 630am (7hrs total sleep time)…

But oh how I would love to be able to sleep for 10 hours on some days…but that’s completely impossible for me.

I wonder if this is affecting my weight loss plans? Considering I’ve been on a frickin plateau for two frickin months…
