Is “street” a euphemism for something else? Because if so…yes, absolutely.
You guyz.
They should really just get a room and clear all the sexual tension.
One wrong move, and they’re holding hands…
Had an interesting chat with a fellow gym member last night. He is an older guy like me but competes in masters natural bodybuilding rather than strength sports. I was talking with him and another member when I made a comment about him wearing a singlet (vest) and putting us all to shame with his chiseled arms. He laughed at the sideways compliment and then his response was to tell me that when he sees any of my training or my videos he is always blown away by how heavy the weights are. In his words ‘scary weights’. It is funny how we lose a little perspective about our own training especially when we have been doing it a long time.
Tuesday night conditioning was some sled drags. Just 40KG on the sled but that was enough to elevate the heart rate and get a good leg pump.
Did 28 laps of the car park, 50m so a total of 1400m in 25 mins
It was 30c in the shade tonight which really worked up a sweat.
Had 3 burgers for dinner tonight, approx 375g (13 oz) of beef. So at my guess around 80g of protein. Plus cheese and avocado and some salad. Seemed like a great way to recover.

Great work, @simo74. You’re still the model of consistency, if ever there was one—keep it up!
that is very high praise from someone who knows a thing or two about hard work.
Yeah, we tend to be tougher on ourselves. I know people try to talk shit about me being larger, so I use that as fuel to hate myself in a way to fuel powerlifting.
In reality, I am pretty fucking lean for a “natural” lifter at my weight class. Yeah i still have some bf % but for other guys who weigh the same were not even close.

Belt

Lovely leg pump, quads were sore just sitting down after.
Dumbell bench
37.5 x 6 x 4 sets -
Easy full reps, nice pump

18, 18, 14
Pump city baby.
Dumbell row

Rotator cuff work
Very solid session. Squats were good, Bulgarians were good but also bad, bench was smooth and the rest was a big old pump.
Smooth and deep cause that’s how some of you like it. Or so I heard.
