Honestly, I hate them!! They are hard and that’s why I am making myself do them. I don’t usually get the full 10 reps On set two and three, I just do as many as I can and then finish with hanging knee raises. They make me feel very un-athletic, especially compared to my 7 year old doing them At gymnastics… sad

Latest fatsique shots. I put these on the transformation thread but going to chuck me up here too for future reference. Still 88kg (193 lbs) so weight hasn’t really changed.
Have you heard of the new game show “are you stronger than a 7 year old?”
Full disclosure: I certainly couldn’t do 3x10 tors to bar
Lmao if that show has anything body weight we are all fked !!
88kg is tiny need to eat more my friend.
I agree I do need to up my game
Did you at least get any taller?
*takes notes
Right?! Watching CrossFitters bang out sets of 10 for 10 rounds as supersets or giant sets lets me know exactly how unathletic I really am.
Are they even good as an ab exercise? I have literally never done them, mostly because people look really stupid while doing them.
I only did them a few times before gyms closed, so I’m not sure how they’d affect the abs long term. FWIW, the US Army recently changed their tested ab exercise from situps to knees-to-elbows hanging leg raises, which are similar to toes-to-bar.
Interesting. May have to do some in sekrit.
They can be but the way they do it in CF isn’t about using any particular muscle. They’re using momentum and everything else to do it.
True. Slow negatives on toes to bar are the bee’s knees.
Even with momentum they are not easy.
Spent the morning washing and waxing the wife’s car. Looked great when it was done. 3 hours of cardio and getting my dose of vitamin D in the sun. Chucked two kilogram of chicken (4lb 6oz) in the slow cooker along with some mushrooms, tomatoes and some Indian curry spices. Added a home grown ghost pepper for that extra zing !! Looks like this week I will be mostly eating chicken.
Where’s the veggies? Where’s the helf
Looks pretty good man. Not sure on the bite size portion sizes though.
