I love it! As a fellow non-monster, I find myself happy to stay the same. Many will say that’s bad, but if I can maintain what I have while adding life demands then that’s its own sort of progression.
Maintenance requires progressing when you’re over 30; the default is to regress!
I don’t want to be the T-Nation wuss or anything. I just like pushing hard while I’m doing it, so I just kind of do whatever floats my boat.
This is my view on the subject as well. It seems like I’m always fighting to get back to old PRs… and those aren’t even impressive.
