going to be giving the article from T-Nation a shot “Shredded in 6 Days”
it recommends Taraxatone for a diuretic, but I just picked up some Diurex from the grocery store.
anyone have experience with either? The article says to up the recommended dose, wasn’t sure if I should do that with Diurex.

Right on. I hope they turn out well. Water manipulation starts tomorrow, right? Do you have your gallon jugs yet? I have 2 anaconda shakers (~half gallon each), and will be picking up two 1-gallon jugs later tonight after my workout. I’m already low carbing. no more finibars until the carb up 
Are you backing off cardio as was suggested in the article? I dunno if i can do that psychologically. I’ll try not to sweat or something. I get that I want to downregulate aldosterone, so sweating would be bad for this. I think the extra water will for than compensate as long as I don’t go nuts with the cardio. We’ll see.
I got everything cept for the epsom salt.

Cool. I hate cardio but I have been doing it. I’d much rather lift, hike, or play a sport, ya know? I plan to compete in MMA or BJJ in the next year so I guess I better get used to it though. You taking before and after pics? Throw em up if you don’t mind. I’d be curious to see em. I’ll post mine as well.
Used the Taraxatone before. Worked well - hardly because of getting up to urinate (at least once every 2 hours). But it works and works well. Using the shredded in 6 days plan, I dropped 13 lbs of water in those 6 days.

thought CT said sometimes you will come in heavier after the carb load

Sorry - forgot 'bout the carb load. The weight loss was before the carb load.
I was heavy enough - started dieting at 227, started water cut at 210, 197 before carb up, 208 after a couple of days of carb up, normal water consumption.
Let us know how it goes Jehova, I think the hardest part about this is getting your carb up just right and not getting a spill over and end up looking soft, I personally haven’t used Diurex, But I’ve tried Taraxatone and a product called “Shredded” by SAN. Both worked well but I had my sodium cut and was drinking a couple gallon’s of water for 5 days prior to cutting it 24 hours before, so its hard to say if they did help in expelling more water or if it was just cutting the salt and excess water and dropping carbs. Either was let us know how it goes. Good Luck

Dude, I think I slept walked last time due to having to get up to pee. There was a hair drier in the living room, and one of my boxing gloves were in my work bag, rather than my gym bag. This sucks! Hopefully it’s worth the price. Is 5 days of this really necessary? I looked pretty ripped after my workout yesterday after only doing this for one day, so hopefully the effects get even better.

This is torture. Visiting family for the holidays, and we get here and my cousin is making brownies. And there are cookies.
My carb day isn’t until tomorrow, so much torture.
