I like me giant set protocol…
DB side raises 1x6-10
Seated db presses 1x6-10
Upright row 1x6-10
No rest between sets, rest a minute or so after all 3 exercises, then repeat 2 more times. Try that once per week or every 5 days for 5-7 weeks.
Otherwise, I’d just work at getting stronger on several of the most proven shoulder exercises and see where you are one year from now.
For any lagging bodypart - the FIRST thing i do is increase the frequency. So assume i am on a 1x/wk training frequency, i would do delts twice to 3 times.
If i am on a 2x/wk freq. then i may train them 3-4x a week…
I may reduce the volume per session but make sure the volume per week is double of what it should be/the rest of my bodyparts are…
For shoulders, exercises you need to concentrate are logged specifically in the beginner section i imagine, BUT OH presses are your best bet. choose more than 1 compound move for size - so say normally masny people do 1 compound followed by 2-3 isolative moves… well i found that for me to get bigger, increasing the compound moves works well… so 2-3 compound exercises and 1-2 isolation moves…
