About a year ago I tweaked my shoulder. Lifting and twisting some heavy ass bags in a car.
After that happened it felt like my muscle in my shoulder would over lap one another muscle not saying thats what happens but it’s the only way I can describe it. All I have to do is a cross shoulder stretch and everything seems to fall back into place.
It used to happen on fast twitching movements or jerking movements a lot of times when I took a shower or put lotion on for example. It happen fairly frequently back then for awhile. So I tried to not use it as much as possible washing with only one hand never lending on it.
Overall it’s gone away never happens at all now unless I do shrugs for some reason. Barbell, DB, smith machine, cable shrugs. However HS shrugs doesn’t seem to act it up.
It is very irriating when it happens doesn’t really hurt but if it happens a few times in a row it does get rather inflamed for a few days which sucks. I’m glad I can do some shrugs at all at this point but I’m more concerned with understanding the issue.
Wondering if anybody has had a simliar problem and what should be done? Also why HS shrugs seems to not effect it.
