If anyone’s familiar with this problem I’d appreciate whatever advice you can give me. I was trying out front squatting for the first time on Friday and was using the cross-over grip or whatever you call it, not the olympic grip. After I did a set with my left forearm tucked under my right, my shoulder felt funny, and it hasn’t gone away.
When I raise my left arm all the way, at the end of the extension it feels like something shifts in the joint, and if I rotate my hand outwards with my arm up then it feels awkward. Not painful, but it doesn’t feel right.
I’m going to go see a physiotherapist as soon as I find the time, but I’d rather go there with some knowledge of the issue so I don’t have to just trust whatever the physiotherapist says.
