Sex, Squats, and Rock 'n Roll

Spent the weekend in the mountains/snow next door in New Hampshire.

Did nothing but eat, eat, and eat.

Freakin’ awesome.

Resume diet tomorrow AM.

I spent the weekend taking a break from eating.

Freaking awesome.

Resume the eat-til-I-barf diet… now.

Can we switch brains for a while?

Happy belated Thanksgiving.

I’m with Colin on the drunken sailer for lunges…

Dude, looking huge!

The beard suits the swoleness. Boulder shoulders.

LOL @ Beard.

I know I either need to lose the beard or get a new phone. I have an old Blackberry 9000 and the keys keep plucking random hairs from my beard when I talk on it… lol.

Hurts like a bitch!

Steely talking " man that was a good lift… OW!, No man I did’t just quote James Brown my beard is getting plucked by my phone, What did you say? Nah man I’m serious".

LOLOLOLOLOOLOLOLLOL

Sorry just had too.

LOL!

OWW!

Get funky…

very beefy!

I dig it. What does your wifey think of your transformation over the years?

HA! Thanks!

She’s right into it. She likes ‘beefy’.

We came across some pictures of us from about 10 years ago. Her comment was ‘You look so tiny… like skinny tiny… like you better now’. She, of course, after 3 kids weighs almost the same as she did in highschool (105 or so)…

I was totally skinny-fat.

Steely, you need to post pictures of skinny fat Steely, I don’t believe it…lol

It would be interesting to make a “Over the years” thread for the over 35 crowd. I would love to see everyone at the beginning and now…side by side. If nothing more than the 80 Zubas work out gear!

Challenge accepted!

I was just ‘carb skinny’ around when I graduated highschool. Was running a lot, a little lifting (nothing worth speaking of), and back in the early 90’s it was all about carbs, carbs, carbs and no fat.

Rowed crew and played hockey in college, so I was lean and the type of lifting I was doing would probably better fit ‘crossfit’ vs what I do now (ie. light weights and lots of reps).

In grad school, I was just jogging a bit and doing some mountain biking and after that, I just didn’t put too much into physique until my 30’s…

Since the thread in Nutrition is now a mess, I thought I’d pop in here and ask. Do you not consume any coffee now? You seemed to be a caffeine free zone.

You have absolutely achieved beast status.
