beast indeed
how the fug do you get the 120’s up there.
I had to do the worlds ugliest clean thing with 80’s and 90’s
The giant is awake.
Congrats on the PR. Nice to see you putzing around here.
Feed teh beast! No, seriously, somebody feed this guy before he eats something he shouldn’t. Bro, you got some seriously HUGE lifts in here! Awsome shit for me to shoot for in my next life.
HA… lol thx.
This may be the first semblance of a PR I’ve had in months.
KMCNYC - Anything 100 and above for shoulder presses or inclines I have someone put it on my shoulder. I can clean the 90’s and 100’s but I’ll be damned if I can kick them up.
T-Rex arms and legs for no kicky up weights.
T-Rex HATE pushups!
Damn, that’s pretty gonzo pressing. Did you celebrate with a side of beef?
Even if I could do that I’m not sure there’s anyone in my gym when I go who could pick up the 120s…

Nice work on the 120’s… that’s BAD ASS

HA!!
So, the guy I train with sometimes is 6’-5". Basketball player and pretty strong (but, being so tall he just looks skinny).
I hand the db to him so he holds it at stomach level, I pop one db on the other shoulder, sit, then he just hands it off right on my shoulder.
The key is: find someone tall who can hold the db with 2 hands for about 10 seconds. ![]()

I didn’t know this is where we’re putting the T-Rex pictures, I’ve been doing it all wrong!
Anyway Steely, not training related, but I saw this blog and thought you’d like it.
HAAAAAAA!!!
Nice-- thanks!

Then, other stuff…
Been traveling a lot for work couple weeks there with nothing more than hotel gym curls and high rep db stuff and dips, etc.
Mostly hitting bench on the weekends, so it’s almost a bench specialization program. Not as much volume as i like, but strength is holding. Food hasn’t been a problem.
Beard is thick-- that helps…

You really need an appetite to get that down. Probably why they invented squats and deadlifts.
You know the old sayings: “Squids for Squats!” and “Big Squid for Big Squat!”
…or, something like that…
