Must get diet back in order. Been lean on the beef, protein, and frequency and high in the crackers. No good. NO CRACKERS FOR YOU! (actually, no crackers for me).
Video check. I think I would have gotten red lighted on what I thought would be an opener ![]()

After a few months it’s like ‘hey…those were the same ole crackers!!!’

Thanks man. The F.Squats don’t really bother my traps/upper back. Usually, my shoulders are sore just where the bar sat, my abs, and my quads/glutes.
Actually, everything is sore after leg day now that I think about it, but I don’t think it’s just from the front squats.
Truly, the hardest thing for me when trying to rep front squats is the breath thing and I think it just takes time to build up that breath-hold indurance and strength to not let the weight squeeze the air out.
It always feels like I have a lot more in the tank leg wise, but after a few sets of 1-4 reps, it just feels like I’m going to pass out.
Dude you’re heavier then me now. I weighed in at 262 the other day. Now I’m the little guy.
And yet you are both still lighter than me. Just wish I had your proportions.
Maybe some bicep implants, since apparently I lack the “bicep” gene? Or maybe just some synthol.
Hey Strick, think of it more as lacking the ‘brotard’ gene and skipping that phase of development. I think it should be a badge of honor to be as big and strong as you are, without having the huge biceps normally associated with curling in the squat rack, heh.
Triceps/Presses:
warmups - scaps, shoulders, tri’s
Low incl. DB Presses:

80x12
110x10

Rack Presses (bars set at about 3 boards)
Done as clustered singles
Grip a little wider than CGBP
135x8
225x5
315x3
365x0 (lol and crying inside)
315x3
335x3
Triceps cable P/D with “ez” attch.
Grip shoulder width
5 sets 12-8 reps
Hows training coming? Still doing that meet?
I feel like a little guy over here now. You just keep on growin. BTW, just read an article, Maine is the safest,i.e, least crime, state in the union. Louisiana is the most. Yawl got crawdads? Move over.
I’m too young for this forum for a couple years still (only like 4 so it’s not that bad but)
You are gone too?
WT MOTHER FUCK?
I go away because of tax season and like half my fav posters on these boards are gone when I come back.
God damn it.
Steely D Holla back
Steely greww to massive, reached critical mass, and imploded. He will be missed.
^Somewhere over Maine there was a giant flash of white light. The official government possition is a failed weather ballon.
Hey old farts-
Happy Fourth of July! And for our Canadian friends, Happy Monday!
I’m still around, just lurking in the shadows. Busy, busy, busy.
Everybody seems to be lifting heavy shit. That makes me happy.
Welcome back old meat head.
Are you visiting or are will you be hanging around?
I watched “Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead” on Netflix recently. http://www.fatsickandnearlydead.com/
It’s about this Australian dude who was overweight and suffered from a recurring skin disease who decided to drive across the US and do a “juice fast”. Great story, plus he helps other folks (I won’t give away the story).
Now, a juice fast is not something for me, and certainly not something I’d recommend for anyone concerned with muscle retention, but it certainly helped some morbidly obese folks.
Feeling like I haven’t been eating enough vegetables the past months, I decided to go out and buy a fuckton of leafy shit and “juice” it in a regular old blender, then add two scoops of Grow!Whey for my shakes.
So, something like:
Bunch of Kale
Bunch of Spinach
Chunk of rhubarb
Fresh ground ginger
Watercress
handful of blueberries
2 scoops whey protein
water
It doesn’t puree (still chunks), but it’s thickish liquid- ie. drinkable
I’ll be damned if I don’t have like a rush of energy. Nothing else has changed (well, my shit was green for a bit), but diet hasn’t otherwise changed.
Maybe it’s placebo affect.
Dunno.
In anycase, good movie. +1 for “kale”. lol
