Its according to who you listen to. I hear conflicting reports, however a lot of the players have been leaking that they think the deal is getting done soon. So I think D Smith is telling the players to go ahead and be ready that this is getting done.
Next Friday is the deadline, if it is not done then no preseason and the owners lose a billion dollars.

Nope! Had a family/churchy thing and the meet was an hour away. I did try a max attempt and PR’d 5 lbs (370) that week, then all hell broke loose with work etc.
Still want to get a meet under me belt.
