So is that actually you ? Or did you acquired a shaved mountain gorilla and put a tank top on it. Damn ! Your looking thick as hell.

SD,

I dared to venture out of the O35 forum and stumbled on your Cucina Anabolica Italiano thread, I’ve only gotten through a few pages but great stuff!

You inspired me to put in a little more effort on my dinner tonight, it came out awesome. My wife who’s a Mainer said she loved it too, thanks!

Steely, your journey is an inspiration to many. Well, dammit, have you gained the ever elusive 1" on your arms?!? Me thinks you did and does it really matter today?

For nostalgia sake, do you remember way back when?

LOL-- thanks man.

Gorilla. Rhino. I’m digging these descriptions.

It’s humbling, really because I see that pic and I think how I need bigger traps (and arms as always…)

Hey thanks, man! I’m glad anyone even reads this stuff…

Here’s post in the T-Cell “Before/After” that shows the progress from stupid fat, to skinny-fat, to fat-fat but stronger

Glad you enjoy the recipe(s)! Where abouts in Maine is your wife from? I do a mean beer/garlic lobster (lob-stah), too

My grill is buried under snow, but I have a brand new one in a box on my porch. I usually grill all winter, but I didn’t keep up with keeping it from getting buried, now I’m too lazy to dig it out…

Thats you aint it?

LMAO @ Bulldog..

There was an older woman, proabably mid 60’s that asked me if I was done using the rack (I was done). She started doing squats with a barbell. Deep just below parallel squats, perfect form. I told her her squat form was better than 99 percent of the other people in the gyms… She got a kick out of that.

strong work over hear. and dang, you are just one big thick sob.

Unreal. I’m doing this wrong.

How do you like the trap bar for shrugs? I’ve been thinking that a trap bar would be much better than a regular one for really heavy shrugs.

I prefer them. Having the weight distributed in center of body to start is much more comfortable for my lower back at higher weights. I tend to lean forward a little, head down and shrug up. I feel my traps much more with the trap bar.

Had to leave because they closed the pool right after kid’s swim practice and I don’t like my kid hanging out unless she’s in the pool.

I don’t know if it’s mental, but I feel like my lifts are stalling with the low/no carbs the past 2 weeks. Probably in my head.

Damn, that avatar makes you look like you could walk through a wall and say “Windy today, eh?”

Just saw your transformation pics. Hard to believe that’s you. What a change. I bet a lot of us have over the years.

Thanks. I was a fat little kid, then leaned out a bit in highschool, then got a little chubby again at the end of highschool (probably from all the drinking and smoking), then started running and playing higher level hockey, so leaned out again. THEN, rowed crew in college and got SUPER thin, then got fat as fuck over the next 12 years (start of pictures).

Cable Curls:
5 sets - 12-7 reps

HS Dips

Wife is from Buxton, southern Maine. Gonna try to cook all the recipes in that thread, thanks for the inspiration.

Also just wanted to congratulate you on the transformation, been following your log since you began and you clearly show the route to size is through the kitchen as much as the gym.

Hey thanks man, I appreciate it!

I know Buxton-- When I first moved to Maine we lived/worked in York County. Nice area.
