Ramped up to 4pps x 3 (which is several reps LOW). Didn’t feel like doing anything else, so I left.

even looks like it is one dude in his 40s that is whining about it. sure it might be harder, but the fact that people are acting like it is impossible is really disappointing. I have one friend in his early fifties that added probably 30lbs in the past few years. he is meticulous with his diet, training, etc. but it can be done later in life.
I saw that thread and the posts you are referring too. Damn…I turn 42 in 3 months. I guess I am just fucked.
Of course, when I was young and dumb (2 years ago), I thought that 40 was the cutoff for being over the hill. If anything, hanging with all of you old folks has proven the exact opposite. Granted, I don’t recover as well as I did, but I am stronger and thicker than ever.
I was thinking of ordering a leg press. I guess I should get a walker instead.
