Setting Goals, 5'11 Male

Any male, 5’10 to 6’ lifters here who consider themselves “fit” (not looking for ripped, just fit) care to share their,

Weight,
Bodyfat %
Squat
Bench
Deadlift.

I am trying to set some long term goals for myself, and would like some ballpark figures. I am aware on how different it can be, this isn’t meant to be scientific, just aspiration.

I’m 5’8" in shoes lol close enough I guess
Weight 215lbs
Body Fat not sure probably 12-15% just guessing
Bench- 250 close bench only train it once a month really.
Push Press- 250 x 5
Front Squat- 300 x 1
Deadlift- 450 x 1

What do you mean by ‘fit’?

As in, do you have any pictures or names of people to describe what you’re talking about?

None specifically, and sorry for being vague.

I am really just looking to set up some specific targets for myself. I am aiming to cut (overweight at the moment) before I put on some strength.

A quick google search give the following image

That’s what you call “fit”?.. ok nevermond ignore my post.

You don’t cut fat and then gain strength. Just not how it works, but I kinda know what you mean. We get people saying that a lot. What are your current stats - height, weight, general fat level (not bodyfat percentage, but are you kinda pudgy, average/undefined like the pic you posted, sorta lean, etc.)?

Um, that dude looks like he spent all of 6 weeks doing nothing but lateral raises and barbell curls. I wouldn’t use that as any type of reference, other than as a starting point.

Let’s drastically contrast that with, for example, Georges St. Pierre above. 5’11" and a lean 170 in that pic, and he usually walks around 195-200ish. He obviously doesn’t train to be a bodybuilder, but I think it’s safe to say he’s “fit” in the sense that he’s a combination of strength, power, speed, agility, endurance, and flexibility. I’m not trying to tell you what to shoot for, though.

why is that your goal?

Not too harp on this poor picture dude too much, but the exact same image shows up under the headings “weightloss obsession”, “bulging biceps”, “underweight”, and “beefcake.” L… O… L.

If that picture is your idea of someone whom is “fit” then I think you need to visit a different website…
Or get out more. Either one. Or both.

That first guy should not be your goal. I understand people aiming to look like Brad Pitt fight club or an Abercrombie model, but not that guy. GSP’s physique is going to be tough to attain for many people, but having that look as a goal is reasonable.

My stats are:
5’11
178lbs
~11% bodyfat
215x5 Squat
285x5 Deadlift
195x5 Bench

I don’t want to be any heavier since I compete in a sport with weight classes, but want my lifting numbers to be about 30% better within a year.

5’ 10.5"
195 lbs.
~12% bodyfat (don’t know exactly, but can see abs)
Bench: 280
Squat: 315 (weak point for me, set your goal higher than this for sure)
Dead: 430 x 1 (hit this without training it for several months, used to do it for a triple)

Set your expectations higher than that pic for sure.

5’11
190lbs @ 10%bf

Back squat: 365
Front squat: 285
Flat bench: 215 (especially shitty)
Deadlift: 450 (hook grip’d)

Wtf

What can I say, I used to be a bro, bench, curls, chinups, with occasional rows and squats, lol. I just naturally suck at squat.

5’10.5"
241 lbs.
No idea of bodyfat, but I have a gut. Arms and legs are defined.
I compete in geared powerlifting, but I’ll put my raw lifts (as best as I can remember)
Squat 455?
Bench 320
Deadlift 520

I actually do conditioning work 3-5 mornings/week, so I can actually walk up stairs without getting winded. (joke)

5’11
255 lbs - give or take 5 lbs
raw deep squat 495
front squat 405
bench 385
deadlift 605

pardon the Halloween pumpkin faces. My phone just has them as a preset add-on so it was the easiest way to block out my face

5’11"
183 lbs.
minor definition to the abs, so about 15%(?)
275 lbs. squat
365 lbs. dead
225 lbs. bench
