Set Back

I have just got over being disgustingly sick for about 3 weeks, and lost a good 15lbs WOO HOO!!! My appetite is still in the crapper, and i feel like a little girl when im on my training floor ;( Ever happen to any of you?

usually at least once a year. but i dont think i have lost 15 lbs ever as a result.

happening right now. Been shitting liquid for the past 5 days. I have been to the gym 1 time in the past 4, and felt nauseous the entire time i was lifting. I have been constantly tired, and just feel like crap over all. I figure when my body returns to normal I will slowly be able to start eating enough again, and then get back to the gym and stop feeling like I am shrinking down to nothing.

Most of my setbacks have been due to injuries.
My history has been 2 steps forward, one step back… and sometimes 2 steps back.
Even now I’m dealing with knee, low back, and forearm issues, but I’m working around them instead of my customary habit of taking time off.

As far as getting sick goes, usually it lasts a day or 2 and it’s usually a digestive issue.
I lose muscle mass very easily when dealing with setbacks.

I admit that over the years I’ve been pushed to the point of considering quitting permanently, due to the frustration of setbacks and halting progress. But that feeling only lasts less than an hour.

Onward and upward… even if only in small steps.
