Semaglutide And Oral AAS

I’m hoping to pick some brains on potentially using semaglutide for cycle support.

For context, I’ve run 2 very mild cycles.

The first was 350mg test cypionate weekly for 16 weeks with anavar at 50mg daily, divided, for 8 weeks. I loved it.

The second was test cypionate at the same dose and initially included masteron at 200mg weekly. My hair started falling out and I couldn’t pee a few weeks in so I dropped the mast and things were fine again.

Anyways, I share that to illustrate I don’t have much personal experience. I do have an in-person plug and a couple guys I trust who give advice but they aren’t very familiar with semaglutide.

I’ve read that it increases endothelial function, has liver, kidney and cardio protective effects and even helps preserve muscle mass in a caloric deficit should cutting be the task at hand.

I’ve also read that long term use leads to significant decreases in muscle, however.

My goal would be short term as cycle support and specifically in conjunction with test c and anavar.

My hunch is that long term drug induced hunger decreases lead to muscle loss in non-weight trained individuals, but I know there are concerns metformin, a similar drug, will blunt muscle growth altogether. I’m not finding info on this for semaglutide and don’t know the difference between mechanisms of action for the two drugs.

Curious if anyone has insight or experience with semaglutide, especially as a cycle support ancillary more than a fat loss solution itself.

What is the goal of the cycle? If it’s muscle gain then 0 reason to use semaglutide.
If you’re attempting a cutting cycle it def has benefits. For fat loss tirzepatide is a better option. I’ve used both and I got much more fat loss from tirzepatide. It was like dieting without trying.
That being said hard to help without more info from you.

Cutting/weight management.

Ideally preserving muscle mass and strength while managing weight class at an untested PL meet. I’m getting older (42 in a month) and the extreme dieting at the end is getting harder, so dieting without trying sounds perfect.

But I’m really curious if the cardio/liver/kidney protective qualities are available during a cycle. I specifically see that semaglutide has a favorable effect on liver enzymes, and it would be awesome if it exerts these effects during an anavar cycle.

Semaglutide has proven to help with liver enzymes and fatty liver but I’m not sure it will offset the impact of Anavar or other orals while taking them. Can’t imagine this has been studied.

Well, I may give it a shot. Curious to compare labs with vs labs without.

Log it!!
Tirzepatide also has positive effects on liver and has been studied to produce more fat loss. I would check it out.
There are also third generation drugs coming out that are supposed to be even better for fat loss. Retatrutide is supposed to be fantastic. I’m gong to check it out next year sometime when I diet down for comp.

You’d be better off taking TUDCA to mitigate negative liver effects of oral AAS.

Retatrutide is a literal game changer.

And Chase is an unbelievably helpful resource for PED users looking to push the limits while preserving health as much as possible. Highly recommend.

Thank you man. I’ve never heard of Chase and this is exactly the type of info I’m looking for in general. I look forward to digging in.

You’re welcome! Check out the discord too. Great info.

I’ve seen guys advocate for using this even when not trying to lose weight and outside of mental health issues or substance abuse issues, I just don’t see the point. There’s plenty of other ways to stay healthy while on cycle.

I would ask @Derek542
