Semaglutide - Dosage and Opinions?

I posted this in Pharma for more traffic, but this could also correctly be placed in the TRT subforum.

So Defy Medical started giving Semaglutide prescriptions, and I am a current TRT patient. Have been cutting for a while now with some success (okay, probably more than some, but I’m not as lean as I’d like to be). I’ve getting worn out between work, school and general life stuff and could honestly just use a hand… I’ve got another 10-15lbs (I think) to lose before I’m satisfied with where I’m at.

I’ve heard some pretty awesome things about Semaglutide (Ozempic) and was curious if anyone here has some opinions/experience using this to help lean out. Dosage recommendations?

I’m 28, 5’9 and about 220lbs.

How much do they want for this product? I think Ozempic works well. I’d make sure it is that version though (some of the injections have a very short half life compared to Ozempic).

I ask for the cost, because I can get the stuff from where I order “stuff” haha. But it’s the short acting one (I think?). It is still pretty expensive (more than a HGH high replacement dose would cost). That is UGL.

I love this stuff. About to start it up again after my Test+Var cycle. I take Liraglutide mostly tho (I have taken both). I eat what I need during the day and when I get home from work, I workout or go for a walk then take a dose, zero hunger for the rest of the night. I dropped 28 lbs doing this last year.

So I’ll be getting a script for Semaglutide. Dosage recommended is as follows:

Start with 0.25mg inject SC weekly for 4 weeks, then increase to 0.5mg inject SC weekly for at least 4 weeks, then may increase to 1mg inject SC weekly for at least 4 weeks, then may increase to 2mg inject SC weekly

Did you follow this protocol when you were on Sema?

Also, any reason you run Liraglutide instead? Just curious

Yes, but I stayed at .25mg for 8 weeks

Shorter acting, and allows me to eat what I want during the day and take it in place of dinner. I like that method more, and if I want a cheat meal I just skip it.
