I am house mates with my good friend’s girlfriend. They’ve been going out a while.
Last night, we all went to dinner. My mate and I came home early. His partner (my housemate) and her friend went to a bar.
I was tired, he felt shite and went home so I just laid in bed. They came home and they had a few drinks. My room is right next to the lounge so I can hear everything.
She then tells her friend that she went to a patty and a guy she is friends with was being very closed off to her. As if he was angry. The friend gave the very excellent advice that it’s not her fault if people don’t make themselves available to you.
Then she drops the bombshell “I always felt me and Aaron were destined to be together”.
Clearly, this says to me that she was trying to extend that friendship beyond just friends.
Now I don’t know what to do. Ignore it? Tell me friend? Tell her?
Urgh, how do I get myself into these situations.
