Christmas Day Massacre!

Just in case you didn’t hear the news, here is the link.

Christmas brings out the worst in people. This just got me fucking pissed.

That makes me so angry.
He’d been married to the chick for a year.
It didn’t work out, so he killed her family. Wtf.

Its sad to here that alot of peoples solutions nowadays are mass murders, columbine, VT, the Christmas day massacre etc…

That guy seriously lost his head…it was a Christmas party

fucked.up.

This event was a horrible tragedy, but you don’t really know what transpired between the guy and his wife earlier that pushed him to this state. That is something that needs to be investigated and taken into account before everyone takes this gift from st nick to feel holy at another person’s expense.

Do I condone it? hell no…it was a horrible solution, no matter what the undercurrent was!
But as far as lessons to take away from being a productive caring member of american society…this shit could happen to anyone!

Some are pushed to those limits, and the rest aren’t.

It wasn’t Christmas that drove him to the end of his rope. It was divorce + Christmas. Both suck, but not enough to justify homicide.

That’s what happends when you buy light beer for your party.

Your right. We all have our breaking point. This man probably never knew that he would be capable of doing such a thing. Pain ,anger and bitterness will make us do things that we could have never imagined doing.

That is some messed up. I heard about this yesterday and it was so upsetting. Some people are just sick.

Yea the guy may of had a chain of events that made him angry and all that shit, but he still had zero reason to justify murdering anyone, let alone a family.

Everyone has problems, even the richest people but you can’t just go around killing the source of your problems with a gun, although that seems to be the american way of life.

If you reach breaking point, then you should be smart enough to put yourself somewhere where you won’t do something stupid.

I had a shit christmas. Hardly a reason to kill somebody over. Not that we have guns anyway.

American way of life??? Don’t be ignorant. This has nothing to do with the country you live in. This could have happen anywhere. Even in Australia.

That was awful. Frankly, I don’t give a flying fuck what his wife did to him. The bastard shot an 8 year old girl in the face just because she answered a door. No one is driven to that, he’s just a piece of shit.

You didn’t understand my post.

HE saw reason, regardless of you or I agreeing with him (as we do not obviously)

Oh sure, genocides and hate crimes are as american as apple pie! Do you hear yourself speak here? Are you saying no one was ever indicted on charges of violent and aggravated assault leading to manslaughter/murder in your own country? Shit can happen anywhere.

Respect for social institutions, fear of authority and basic human decency are all that prevent us from ripping each other’s throats out in violent retribution. When you reach that breaking point - these don;t amount to jack squat.

Then that isn’t/wasn’t your true breaking point. It was just a moment of heavy self-induced depression/mental trauma that still allowed you to retain your sense of reason. Whats so difficult to understand?

You missed the point entirely. your christmas wasn;t shit ENOUGH to push you over the edge, clearly. Be thankful for that. That doesn’t directly make you better or worse than the psychopath in question…it just means you haven;t been pushed OVER the edge. YET.

You and I can shake our heads over the aftermath…but we can never be certain how either of us would have reacted were we in THAT man’;s shoes. And for that, we need the WHOLE story and some self-honesty.

Personally, I HAVE been pushed OVER the edge. ONCE. Different circumstances. Different but very tragic results…and I got what society determined I deserved, but still got off way too easy considering the circumstances.
Can/will it happen again? I fucking hope not.

And I;m out…

It does happen everywhere. I’m not being ignorant I rarely even bother to read these articles anymore as the papers/news sites are flooded with them and they are all the same bullshit.

Although I did read one yesterday about the kid shooting his parents and killing his mother over his parents taking Halo 3 off him.

I know someone working at the scene, give you an update tomorrow.

x2

These horrible acts can not be blamed on anything other than his lack of “human.”

Some people are incapable of accepting a loss. They’re determined to not be a looser and damn the consequences.

This world is becoming a place were violence as a means to deal with an unfortunate situation, is more and more acceptable.
