Scott Abel's MET Core Training

Hi there
I have been trying for quite some time Scott Abel’s training principles , eg his MET ,training in particular,

Now Scott advocates huge amounts of volume IMO, way to much for me anyways as i just do not recover sticking to his programs 100 percent ,

In say his met training every day you are either hitting abs and core one way or another and the muscle systems eg anterior oblique system ,posterior oblique system ,dls system, frontal system , eg rotation one day , flexion extension of the abs another day, twisting another day, hyperextensions another day ,

I would like to know from someone with some real expertise on this forum and familiar with Scots work,

What do you thing honestly of this much core work? how much abs and core is too much ,how much is needed, as i just do not recover from this type of training my core ends up exhausted ,
The principles are excellent and Scott himself i think is a genius in his feild

thanks for your input

I have also been following a lot of Scott’s training principles and in spite of the tremendous amount of volume, I am seeing very good gains. Specifically his legs program he posted here has really pushed me mentally and physically. The rewards are there no doubt.

What does your core routine look like out of curiousity?

Cheers,
Sasha
