Scoliosis: Exercises to Help? Exercises to Avoid?

Just saw my chiropractor because my scoliosis flared up and he did his thing to (temporarily) calm it down. There’s pretty significant curvature in my mid- to lower-spine that throws my body out of whack.

Looking at other threads on here, it appears that exercises like dead lifts have been doing me no favors. What other exercises are you guys avoiding (or at least modifying), if you have scoliosis?

And which exercises seem to help it? I work out religiously 4 - 5x a week, and want to keep going. Obviously I don’t want to make things worse and get myself sidelined from the gym.

Thanks!

ignore it. keeping working out, and while you do listen do this

To help it, try stuff where you “core” stays tight and symmetrical while you move 1 arm and the opposite leg.

For me, the best ones are

Sorry I cant help but @FlatsFarmer always has great advice (in my layman’s opinion), not so sure about the info @lamehack shared but T Nation does have a resident doc who often helps out, I’d love to hear his thoughts on all of the above if he’s free. @Dr_Grove_Higgins
