Weighed in at 204.5 with clothes on so that’s a major win. Light session today to stay sharp. Bench is feeling fantastic, coming from behind to take the lead lol.

I’ve realized that I spend most of my day sitting down at a desk. I feel like my glutes aren’t activating properly, so I’m going to be stepping up the core work.
Core routine (McGill big 3)
Plank each side for 30secs x 2 sets
Bird dogs 3x6 per side
Partial sit-up with hand underneath low back 2x8 per side

@kckfl349 hah! I still need to figure out if I’m going 475 or 500 to open. My back hasn’t been 100% so I’m going to have to call it on the day.
On another note, my hamstrings are sore from a measly 3 sets of bodyweight reverse hypers. My posterior chain is extremely weak. No wonder my back takes all of the load during a pull

At my last meet i was projected to come 3rd but they dropped the ball in the dead lift
Right I recall you had a meet several months ago. How many competitors were in your weight class?
There were four after weigh ins. One guy miscalculated his intake and jumped up amd a guy bombed his squat
I’m not exactly sure how it works. If you bomb your squat specifically are you dqed? What if you make a squat then bomb bench or deads? Do you still get a total?
No. So if it’s your first meet usually the 1st attempts are something you can easily do a triple on your worst day.
