Great session today guys. Matched my all time PR, with ease. No straps this time and honestly I think the whole thing about straps killing your grip is nonsense unless you’re doing absolutely no grip work whatsoever. All I’ve done is pull with straps for the past 4 months or so and my grip is just as strong if not stronger than it was before. 550 is happening soon. No excuses.

Finally hit my front squat goal. Been a long time coming and it ended up being pretty easy. Bench was tough today but I’m pretty tired.

I’ve gone backwards probs considering I’ve lost a fair amount of body weight.
Ima run some bodybuilding which is doing good for sexiness for a bit as I start proper back rehab and then after a few weeks of that I’ll run a bench focus program.
I’m looking at Deathbench. High volume and lots of accessory work. We’ll see how that goes. Hopefully I can push towards 290ish and beyond at a lighter body weight then when I set my previous PRs

Sounds like a good plan. What was the most you’ve hit for a single? 290?
270 twice I think. My last max out wasn’t quite ideal so maybe there was another 5-10 lbs there. Since I’ve been pretty chill on the intensity so no idea where I’m at. Hopefully a bench focus routine does the trick

Signed up for a powerlifting meet on pure impulse. SBWC Fall classic in Brooklyn in late september. Knew if I hesitated I’d eventually wait for the meet to fill up. Got my usapl membership and everything and Jesus this shit is not cheap lol.

Whatever is gonna flatter ur big as head. I got the SBD limited edition black on black one and I like. My mate has the Titan one.
I prefer more chest and shoulder coverage with bigger shoulder straps for comfort so SBD is my preference. I’ve heard the Titan one is more supportive but it’s negligible.
Remember to coordinate your undershirt with your singlet including colour schemes and optimal tightness. If you look sexy you lift sexy
