I did my preparation meet on saturday to get ready for the IPA worlds. It was not the greatest day, I squatted 700 and failed with 725 from the hips coming up too fast. I used my old z suit instead of my hardcore suit which will be modified. I bombed out on the bench with 425 because my ass came off the bench a little all three times. I pulled 675 and went for 700 which i got, only to find out they misloaded it and it was 685, i declined a fourth attempt due to cramping. So i know what things i need to fix for the worlds. Does anyone have suggestions for ways to keep the ass on the bench?
Move your feet out more. Also make sure that you train on a bench that is the same height as the meet bench. if its not put some boards down. Was your gear single or double ply. Those are some awesome lifts. What shirt did you use?
Crazy glue will keep that ass on the bench
Oguard- What leg drive method are you using? Are you tucked or out front driving with your heels?? Let me know because that can effect your but leaving the bench.

Because my single ply hardcore was too loose, i switched to my single ply z suit after my 645 opener, the z suit is also a little old and did not give me too much. My shirt is just as single ply inzer blast shirt, it is my first shirt i have used and i think after the worlds i will get something thicker, unfortunately i am returning from a pec tear and the other pec is slightly strained so that will put a damper on any big benching. I have tried to move my feet in towards me but still drive with my heels on the bench which is what makes my ass come off so fast.
