I think you should stop reading the internet and focus on your training. The problem here is I can give you the answers but you are still too noob to understand them. You are going to turn into the bro version of a Rippetoe zealot.
If you’re training like a pussy and eating too much trying to gain weight for fast results then you’re not going to be able to bulk for long before you get fat. I have not cut in 3 years.
you need to be a bit braver and start thinking for yourself.
Ask yourself these questions:
-Did you read that dumbbell press hurts or when you do it do you actually get physical pain? The answer to this should help you decide whether or not you should keep doing dumbbell presses.
-Do you think that a change in stance that allows for better squat mechanics is a good thing? If so, is that how you should squat from now on?
-Do you feel any pain in your back (spine or otherwise) when squatting?
-Which feels more natural to you: high bar or low bar?
Being able to think critically about your own training and the advice of others will make you a far better trainer than just asking questions all the time. Don’t get me wrong; we’re all happy to help, but the whole point of this is that you learn.
I’ll give you an example from my own training:
My shoulder is a bit fucked up, and hurts from time to time. Now, there is some very common internet bro-talk that the smith machine is a load of shit and bad for you in about a million ways.
Lately, when I’ve tried dumbbell benching (which the internet unanimously agrees is the best chest exercise ever) my shoulder hurts and it detracts from feeling my chest working. When I jump on the smith, my chest works SO HARD and my shoulder feels amazing afterwards.
So, despite having read everywhere that the smith sucks and should be avoided - it’s currently the best way for me to train my chest. If all I did was listen to internet naysayers, I never even would have tried the smith for my pressing, and I’d still have a sore shoulder.
See what I’m getting at? All the reading and asking questions in the world is no substitute for just trying shit out and keeping what works.
Lol I’m Incline Pressing without touching the bar to my chest. That’s because my left shoulder is inflamed. Dumb skinny fat kid tells me not to ego lift with too much weight and do full ROM or my shoulder will get injured when I’m not even going to failure. God bless the internet!

I go ass to grass when doing hack squats on the smith machine. But my strength isn’t real! It’s fake! Quads strong enough to lift over 4 plates for sets of 20 have no carry over to real life! Seriously man I’ve been going to other gyms populated with a younger crowd on some days because of a change in schedule and I’m hearing this nonsense lol.

haha, it’s not actually too bad for chat like that in gyms in this country. Here the young guys basically want to talk about 2 things:
-Not getting too big (because they play football)
-Drugs (this is the big one)
The ones using the drugs just want to talk about how much drugs they’re using and what pros use. The ones not using drugs just like to whine about how much easier it is for the drug users.

working set added 10 kilo each side the machine is heavy…uses squat tips and stance…
set 1 10 reps… set 2 10 reps set 3 12 reps set 4 9 reps faliure last only…
lleg extnethion… says 50 kilo the plates i loded… easy reps got 8 stopped went right to leg press did 15 reps with 20 kilo each side…
set 2 leg ext… did 10 reps then moved to leg [presss added another 20 kilo did 10 reps…
set 3 leg ex 10 reps then hold in btween reps for count of 3 then rep then hhold then rep then hold… KILLED MY QUAD… then leg press added 15 kilo … means 55 kilo each side for 15 rep no faliure… but my back of foot… was raising… idk why… every leg ex rep was hold in contracthion count of 2… … every set of these after i done leg press i went to pull up and did 4 reps… sorry looks badasses LOL
now smith machine bulgreun leg squat 3 sets of 10 each leg… good lift then bom leave…
